Description
Ribblesdale House is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of slobbered rubble with stone dressings and a slate roof. It has a gable end facing the street and stands two storeys tall. Originally designed with three bays, it features an additional bay on the left that matches the style of the others. The former central entrance has a moulded surround and an open pedimented hood supported by moulded consoles, leading to a six-panel door and a rectangular fanlight above. The house has three ground floor windows and four upper floor windows, all with plain projecting surrounds and early 19th-century six-pane sashes. Decorative eaves modillions are present, along with a right-hand gable coping and a ridge stack. There is also a stack at the former left-hand gable, now located at the junction of the first and second bays.
