Description

Stainforth Bridge is a bridge located on Stainforth Main Road, likely built in the early 18th century. It was widened in 1764-65, with wing walls added in 1815 and late 19th-century coping to the parapet. The structure is made of rubble and squared stone, featuring a single span rubble arch on the upstream side, which was widened downstream using squared stone.
