Description

Brookside is a house that dates from the late 18th century and has some alterations from the 19th century. It features a pebble-dash exterior with stone dressings and a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance is located on the right side and is accessed through a 20th-century glazed porch. To the left of the entrance, there is a ground floor window with three lights and flat-faced mullions. On the upper floor, there is a small single light window in the center, flanked by larger windows on both sides, all with plain surrounds. The windows include 19th-century sashes and 20th-century casements. There is a ridge stack on the left-hand gable end. This building is included for its group value with Brookhouse Farmhouse.
