Description

No. 28 is a house located at Piercy End, dating from the mid-18th century and later heightened. It is constructed of dressed sandstone and features a pantile roof. The building has a central staircase plan and is 1½ rooms deep. The front elevation is two stories high with two windows. At the center, there is a four-panel door beneath a rectangular fanlight. The windows are two-light small pane horizontal sliding sashes, each with thin timber lintels. The roof is steeply pitched, with thatch beneath the tiling.
