HENDERSKELFE THE BOAR GARDEN SE 7170 Castle Howard 11/31 Carved fruit basket and pedestal approximately 30 25.1.54 metres north of statue of Wild Boar (formerly listed under "Castle Howard with Outbuilding to East and garden statues") GV II Carved fruit basket and the pedestal on which it stands. Mid - late C18 carving and later pedestal. Sandstone. Approximately 3 metres in height. 2 steps to shaped pedestal, standing on lion's paws. Shaped cornice. Fruit basket carried on 4 consoles.
