Description
Beckside House Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse located in Lower Allithwaite. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with sashed windows throughout. The central entrance is highlighted by a timber porch that supports a six-fielded-panelled door. Gable-end stacks are present on the roof. At the rear, there is an outshut under a catslide roof, along with some small-paned pivoted casements. Inside, the farmhouse showcases chamfered beams, a plank and muntin partition, and wide-boarded doors.
