Description

Green Acres is an 18th-century farmhouse located off Primrose Lane in Mudford. The building is constructed of local stone, cut, squared, and laid in courses, with plain clay tiles on a stone slate base. It has coped gables and intermediate brick chimney stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high with five bays. The main entrance, located centrally in the third bay, features a six-panelled door, two panels glazed, beneath a thin stone slab hood supported by iron brackets. A second boarded door is set between bays one and two. The windows are casements. The third bay has a three-light window, while the upper bay has a two-light window, all with rectangular leaded panes and some iron casement windows with original catches. A brick lean-to is attached to the west side.
