Description
Old Brook Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse located in West Buckfastleigh. The building features a stone rubble first floor at the front, which is slate hung, and has a slate roof with gabled ends. It is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and are topped with cambered brick arches. The central door is parallel and has a glazed top panel, with a later gabled hood supported by wooden posts. There are granite chimneys at the gable ends that have been heightened in brick. To the right (east) of the main structure, there is a one-storey and attic wing that has one bay, a slate-hung first floor, and a large rendered chimney stack at the gable end, along with casement windows.
