Description
Lane Head Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features four bays. The windows are sashed and have vertical glazing bars, with a French window located in the first bay of the ground floor. The entrance is adorned with a flat bracketed canopy and a six-fielded-panel door. There are gable-end stacks, with the right stack projecting and an additional stack located at the rear of the ridge. The right side of the building has a large lean-to outshut that includes an entrance and a window on the front. At the rear, there is a gabled wing. The interior has not been inspected.
