Description

Greenbank is a house, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone with a slate roof. The house is two storeys high with a basement on the south side, and has two bays. An outbuilding adjoins the east side. Coped gables are a feature. The north facade has sash windows with glazing bars in the first bay, and windows with small-paned fixed glazing and opening lights in the second bay. The front door is a six-panel door set within a gabled porch with slate shelves. There are gable-end stacks. The outbuilding has an entrance. The left return has an entrance and a small window. The right return features a large projecting chimney with fire windows, but no stack. The south facade includes an entrance with steps and a slate canopy covering a half-glazed door. Basement windows with glazing bars are also present, as are sash windows on the first floor of the outbuilding.
