Description
39, 41, and 43 Daltongate are three houses built in the early 19th century. They have a pebbledashed exterior with painted stone dressings and a slate roof, standing two storeys tall, with No. 39 also having a cellar. Each house features a one-window range with a doorway to the left. The windows are glazing bar sashes with painted stone surrounds. No. 39, located on the left, has a cellar window beneath its ground-floor window, two external steps leading to the doorway, and a lower doorway to the left. No. 43 was extended to the right around 1980, and its glazing bar sash windows are restorations from a similar time; it is included for its group value. There are chimneys on the left and right sides, as well as between the houses.
