Description
16, 18, and 20 St Bride Street are three houses built in the 1830s. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings, although Nos. 16 and 18 are now rendered. The houses have a slate roof and rise to three storeys, with one bay for each house. There is a stone base and a first-floor sill band, along with top brick corbels that support the gutter. The windows are sashed and feature glazing bars. Each house has simple rendered doorcases with six-panel doors and overlights. No. 20 has wedge lintels above the windows and a blind window on each floor above the entrance, which features a panel with two acanthus motifs in the lintel.
