Description
Nos. 22 and 24 on St. Bride Street are a house and shop built in the 1830s. The structure is made of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. It stands three storeys high and features two bays for both the house and the shop. There is a sill band on the first floor and a cornice at the top. The windows have wedge lintels. No. 22 has sash windows with glazing bars and a blind window on each floor above a round-headed entrance. No. 24 is currently derelict, with the ground floor shop front, which has a corner entrance and window, bricked up. The first and second floor windows have Dack frames, and the roof is missing. The left return to Little St. Bride Street is similar in style.
