Description

Nos. 9 and 11 on St. Bride Street are two houses built in the 1830s. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. Each house has three storeys and a basement, with one bay per house. The top cornice adds detail to the structure, while the windows are fitted with wedge lintels. The entrances are paired and have flat surrounds with a cornice above, featuring consoled doorcases and complete fanlights. No. 9 has sash windows with glazing bars, although the ground floor window is a small-paned casement, and it has a six-panel door. No. 11 has casement windows, but both the ground floor window and door are boarded up as of 1984.
