Description

The Farmers Arms Public House is a public house located in Ulverston, possibly dating from the 18th century with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It features a painted render exterior and a slate roof, standing three storeys tall with three bays. The windows are sash style, with those on the ground floor lacking glazing bars, and are set in painted stone surrounds with projecting sills. The central bay on the second floor is blank. The entrance door, located in the left-hand bay, has a painted surround. The adjacent buildings, Nos. 1 and 3, project forward to the right and left. The interior has been altered.
