Description

1 and 3 Queen Street is a shop and flat dating from the late 18th century. The building features painted render and a slate roof, standing three storeys tall with two bays. The ground floor has a 19th-century shop front that includes a timber fascia and cornice, along with two pilaster strips that have sunken panels. To the left of the shop window, there are two doorways. The upper storeys have sash windows set in narrow painted surrounds, each with segmental heads and projecting sills. Between the two windows on the first floor, there is a small oval window with plain reveals. This building adjoins Nos 4 and 5 Market Place and appears to be of the same construction.
