Description

Nos. 6 and 7 Market Place are two shops with accommodation above, possibly dating from the early 19th century. The buildings are roughcast with a slate roof and consist of three storeys and two bays. The upper storey windows feature plain reveals and projecting stone sills. The windows are sashed, with No. 7 on the left having glazing bars, while No. 6 does not. The ground floors are fitted with two early 20th-century timber shop fronts, each with adjacent recessed doorways. The right-hand shop window is distinguished by a barleysugar column at its angle. There are chimneys located to the left and right of the buildings.
