No. 2 Market Street is a shop with living accommodation above, likely built in the early 19th century and altered over time. The building features painted render and a slate roof, standing three storeys tall with one bay. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front, with a yard entrance to the right. On the first floor, there is a wide casement window with plain reveals and a timber lintel. The second floor has a sashed window with plain reveals and a sill band. There are no chimneys present. The rear elevation consists of one bay with glazing bar sashes and includes a narrow stair window to the right. This building is noted for its group value with other nearby structures.
