Description
Braddylls Arms Public House is a public house that possibly dates from the late 18th century. It features painted render and a concrete tile roof, standing three storeys high with two bays. The windows are sashed without glazing bars, set in narrow painted surrounds with projecting sills. The right-hand bay includes a yard entrance with an elliptical arch. Access to the building is through a door located in this passageway, and a rear wing faces east towards the yard. The rear wall of the main building has a tall window with glazing bars situated above the passageway. Historically, a view of the Market Place from around 1780 shows a building of four bays on the site of the Braddylls Arms, indicating that it may have been rebuilt or remodeled later.
