Description
This is a house with a byre below, which has been extended into former cottages. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with some brick and is lime-washed. It features graduated stone flag roofs; the house has a stone chimney at the east end, while the adjoining former cottages have a stone chimney in the middle.
The house is three stories tall and has two bays. There is a plank byre door located under the steps leading up to a part-glazed entrance on the first floor. Each floor on the left side has a single sash window. The two-story cottages have a plank door on the left, with a single sash window to the right and two sash windows above.
