Description

Ivy House is a house originally built for a mine agent by the London Lead Company around 1825. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble and is lime-washed. The graduated slate roof features corniced stone end chimneys, and there are two 20th-century dormer windows in the outshut at the rear. The front of the house is symmetrical, with two storeys and three bays. It has a central part-glazed door set in a rusticated surround, flanked by sash windows in stone surrounds.
