Description

Yard 83, also known as Dr Manning's Yard, consists of three cottages, likely built in the early 18th century, with later alterations. The cottages are constructed of slobbered rubble and feature a graduated slate roof with stone chimneys at the mid and ends. No. 8 has a dormer window and a 20th-century plank door with two sash windows to the left on each floor. No. 10 also has a 20th-century plank door with two sash windows to the right on each floor. No. 12 has steps leading up to the first-floor door, with a sash window to the left on each floor. This group of cottages is included for its group value.
