Description

Yard 83, also known as Dr Manning's Yard, consists of two cottages, numbered 14 and 16, likely built in the early 18th century with some later alterations. The cottages are constructed from slobbered rubble and feature a hipped roof made of graduated slate, along with stone chimneys at the middle and ends. The buildings are two storeys high and have a total of three bays. The ground floor includes a 20th-century plank door with a paired sash window to the left and an elliptical-headed wagon arch to the right, which has a part-glazed door in the passage. The first floor features both casement and sash windows. This listing is included for its group value.
