Description
Holly Lodge consists of two attached cottages built in the 18th century, likely incorporating earlier structures. The cottages feature rubble stone walls with brick-raised eaves and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are brick stacks located at the left-hand gable, the centre, and the right-hand gable. The buildings are mainly two storeys tall and have approximately four windows. The ground floor has tripartite sash windows, while the upper floor features 2- and 3-light casements with lead lights. The front door of No. 1 is positioned left of centre and includes one glass panel, dating from the 20th century. No. 2 has a centrally located door with fielded panels framed in wood and a pentice slate roof, along with unusual thin side panels beside the door.
