Description

The retaining wall of the churchyard and raised path dates from the 18th century. It runs for 55 meters along the west boundary of the churchyard. The wall is made of rubble-stone and features flat coping stones at two levels. The lower part of the wall extends further out, creating an integral raised, narrow footpath made of cobble-stone. At the north-west corner of the yard, the wall is topped with rubble coping and includes two stone gate-piers. Additionally, there are two stone gate-piers at the south-west corner of the churchyard.
