Description
Stonehouse is a detached house that was rebuilt in 1853, as indicated by a tablet. It features dressed stone walls and a slate roof with stone gable copings. There are brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The house is two storeys high and has three windows, which are three-light stone mullions with straight chamfers and separate labels above. The iron casements have lozenge-leaded lights. The front doorway is centrally located, with straight-chamfered jambs and a separate label above. The door has recessed panels and two top lights, dating from the 19th century. There are extensions at both the left and right gables, constructed with rubble stone walls, also featuring slate roofs and stone gable copings.
