Description

This is a wall dating from the 18th century, located along the street in front of the Old Rectory and the Chantry, with gate piers. It is constructed of rubble-stone and features coping stones. The wall ramps at the corners in front of the Chantry and at the central gate piers, which have reset ball-finials. There are steps that rise vertically at the boundary with the Old Rectory. The wall measures approximately 80 metres in total length and varies in height from 4 feet on the left side (south) to 9 feet on the right side.
