Description

Myrtle Cottage comprises two attached cottages set at right angles to each other, dating from the 18th century. The cottages have rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with stone gable-copings. Brick stacks are located at the front left-hand gable and the right-hand gable. The main range has two storeys and three windows. The forward-projecting range to the left has two storeys and two windows. The main range has ground-floor sash windows with wooden casements above. The projecting range features two-light wooden casements with wooden glazing-bars and lead lights. Front doors are located on a side wall, panelled with two top lights, dating from around the 19th century, and to the left of centre, also panelled with two top lights, dating from the 20th century.
