Description
Paradise House is a former vicarage that has been converted into a private house. It dates from the early 19th century and features rubble-stone walls and a slate roof with stone gable copings. The building has two storeys and attics, with two sash windows that include glazing bars and flush sash-boxes, as well as wooden cills and stone arch voussoirs. The original central door has been replaced by 20th-century metal French windows. The current front door is located within a lobby entrance on the west gable wall and is made of plank and muntin, also from the 20th century. The rear range has stone gable coping and includes two-light iron casements with lead lights, along with one reconstructed five-light window from the 20th century.
