Description
Parnham Park Farmhouse is a mid-17th century farmhouse located in Netherbury. It features rubble-stone walls that are rendered, and has a slate roof with stone gable-copings. The building has renewed brick stacks at both the left and right gables and is two storeys high.
The façade includes four to five windows with two-light stone mullions that have ovolos. There is a continuous label above the ground floor windows and a small oval stone window immediately to the left of this. On the right side, there are two two-light 20th-century wooden mullions with 20th-century metal casements. The front door is positioned right of centre and has straight-chamfered stone jambs with a very depressed arch; it is a 20th-century plank-and-muntin door that is studded.
Attached to the rear is a range that has undergone many alterations but uses the same materials and stone gable-coping. This section is also two storeys high and features approximately four windows, which include two- and three-light wooden casements and one iron light at the top left. The door is located right of centre, and there is a long catslide roof on the west side.
