Description
The Old Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse constructed of rendered rubble stone with stone tiled roofs. It features corniced end wall stacks and a rebuilt ridge stack. The building is one and a half storeys high and has three dormer gables, each with 2-light ovolo-moulded recessed mullion windows. On the ground floor, there is a similar window to the right, which has a hoodmould above it, along with a plank door set in a broad lean-to porch. Additionally, there is a 16-pane sash window and a 12-pane sash window, both with hoodmoulds above. To the right of the porch, there is a mounting block. At the rear, there is a lean-to roofed with slate. Attached to the right end of the farmhouse is a small 19th-century barn that has a slate roof, a coped gable, and elliptical arches leading to double doors and a single door at the front, as well as a wall loft door. There are outside end wall stairs.
