Description

Home Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house constructed of ashlar and rubble stone, with a slate hipped roof and end wall stacks. The house is three storeys high and arranged in an L-shape. The formal three-window front is ashlar, featuring a parapet, moulded cornice, and platband. It has sixteen-pane sash windows to the outer windows, twelve-pane sashes to the centre, with the ground floor windows recessed within panels. A central round-arched doorway is recessed within an arched surround, leading to an eight-panel door and a radiating bar fanlight. The side walls are of rubble stone, and a rear wing is also of rubble.
