Description
Chapel House is a manse dating to circa 1862, constructed of coursed rubble stone with a slate roof. It features coped gables and end wall stacks. The two-story building is double-fronted, with the facade framed by raised ashlar strips to the sides and under the eaves. Two twelve-pane sash windows are present on each floor, set in flush surrounds. A central four-panel door is situated within an ashlar porch, which has a molded cornice and parapet. Chapel House and North Wraxall Congregational Chapel form an unaltered rural chapel group on an unusually isolated site, located midway between North and Upper Wraxall.
