Description

Woodseaves is a house dating from the 17th century, constructed of rubble stone with a Bridgwater tile roof, coped gables, and a ridge stack. It has one and a half storeys. The south side features a 20th-century leaded eaves window and a dormer window. On the ground floor, there's a 2-light recessed ovolo-moulded window with a hoodmould, a 20th-century door, and a 3-light recessed chamfer mullion window. The rear of the house has a dormer and a further dormer to the right, with paired windows, a door, and a 3-light window on the ground floor—all 20th-century replacements with leaded casements. A small, single-storey and attic range is attached via a low link, sporting a stone-tiled roof and a north-end stack. A canted bay has been added to the east front in the 20th century. To the west of the house, and now included in the listing, is a converted 18th-century barn attached by a 20th-century link. The barn has coped gables and various 20th-century window and door openings, with a flush chamfered central doorcase on its south side.
