Description

Church Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of rubble stone with a concrete interlocking tiled roof, a coped verge and a brick stack to the left, and a half-hip stack to the right. The south front is two-storey and has two windows. A central door has two glazed, fielded panels, with a three-light casement window on either side. The first floor has two three-light ovolo-mullioned casement windows. A 20th-century extension is attached to the right. A lean-to extension is located to the left return. The rear features a four-panelled door, and a two-light casement window within a 20th-century lean-to porch, as well as a three-light casement on the first floor. A large gabled stack is situated to the left, and a single-storey wing extends to the left, featuring a beaded mullioned casement window. The interior is said to contain chamfered beams and blocked open fireplaces.
