Description
Watts Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of Flemish bond brick with stone dressings and a Welsh slate roof, which was formerly thatched. The building features coped verges and gable end brick stacks. It is two stories high with three windows across the front. The central entrance has a six-panelled door with a flat stone hood supported by brackets and is framed by a beaded architrave. Above the door is an illegible datestone. On either side of the door are three-light beaded mullioned casements. There is a plat band at the first floor level, which has three two-light mullioned casements.
The right side of the house has a two-light casement and a toothed brick course at the gable, along with a 20th-century porch attached to the right. At the back, there is a 19th-century parallel range. The left side features French windows and a 20th-century casement, as well as a blocked single-light beaded casement. The interior has been altered.
