MIDDLEHAM WEST END (east side) Peacock's Cottages West

GV II

3 cottages, now 2. Early C19. Rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows in all. Two 6-panel doors in plain ashlar surrounds on plinths, central one removed. 16-pane sash windows with projecting sills and sill-like lintels. Shaped kneeler and ashlar coping left. Right gable carried up as screen wall with castellated parapet. Stacks at left end and between bays one and 2, 2 and 3.
