Description
West Shaw and an outbuilding date from the early 19th century. The house is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The house features quoins and a central part-glazed door in a plain ashlar surround set on plinths. Four-pane sash windows are present with projecting sills and sill-like lintels, shaped kneelers, ashlar copings, and end stacks. To the right of the house is a single-storey outbuilding with two pairs of board garage doors, the one on the left being in a simple ashlar surround. The building is included in the listing for its group value.
