Description

No. 14 The Shaws is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has one bay and three storeys, with quoins and a projecting plinth. The ground floor has a five-light window, while the first and second floors each have four-light windows, all of which have recessed flat-faced stone mullions. The left gable has two-light windows, and the right gable features one and four-light windows, along with two 20th-century lean-to porches. A gable chimney stack is present, and the rear of the house backs onto another property.
