Description

5 The Shaws is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The house has a double-depth design with one bay and two storeys. The door, located to the right, has a chamfered surround. On the ground floor, there is a four-light window, while the first floor has a six-light window with one light blocked. A rendered gable chimney stack is present, along with a flat roof extension at the rear, which also includes a six-light window on the first floor. All windows have recessed flat-faced stone mullions. This building is included for its group value.
