Description
Nos. 9 to 11 Brookside are a row of three cottages dating from the early 18th century. They are constructed of rubble stone with timber lintels above the openings and feature a thatched roof supported by five brick stacks, one of which is made with thin bricks. The cottages are one-and-a-half storeys high and have barred wooden casements.
No. 9 is double fronted, featuring one window under a thatch eyebrow on the left, with 3-light casements to the left and 2-light casements to the right, along with a central board door. No. 10 has one bay with 2-light casements on the ground floor and a board door to the left, also beneath a thatch eyebrow. No. 11 consists of three bays, with 2-light casements in the outer bays and two gabled dormers on the left. The central bay on the ground floor has a 3-light casement and a round oven projection to the right, with a modern door situated between the right-hand bays.
