Description
The Pennine Hotel is a hotel built in the early 19th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble with quoins and is limewashed. The roof is covered with 20th-century concrete tiles and features brick end chimneys. The building has three storeys and three bays. There is a passage through to the rear at the south end, and the ground floor has been altered in the 20th century, featuring a central entrance. On the first floor, there is a 20th-century casement window at the south end and a single sash window at the north end; the top floor has three sash windows. The building is included for its group value, despite the many alterations it has undergone.
