Description

No. 27 is a shop located in Market Square, dated 1816 as indicated on the rainwater head. The building is constructed from coursed, slobbered rubble and features a graduated stone-flagged roof with a stone chimney at the north end. It has three storeys and three bays. The ground floor has a projecting 20th-century shop front that includes a part-glazed door with a rectangular fanlight on either side. Above, there is a single sash window with glazing bars on each floor. This building is included for its group value.
