Description

No. 23 Castle Meadow is a shop building dating from the early to later 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features three storeys, which slope down to two storeys on the left-hand side. The facade has five bays and a 20th-century shopfront that spans the entire width, with doors located at each end. The building includes sash windows with glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches, topped by a parapet. A rainwater head on the building is dated 1812.
