Description

39 London Street is a late 18th-century shop constructed of painted brick. The building has three storeys and two bays, with a 20th-century shopfront that features a recessed door and windows. On the first floor, there are French windows with an eaved surround and a small flat hood above. A balcony with cast-iron railings extends across both windows. The second floor contains sash windows with glazing bars and an eaved surround. The building is accented by rusticated quoins and a flat band that runs between the first and second floors, topped with a box cornice. The roof is not visible.
