Description
No. 18 Bedford Street is a former shop that has been converted into a wine bar. The building dates from the 19th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. It is constructed of painted brick, and the roof is not visible. The building stands three storeys high and features three bays, with the central bay projecting 4 ½ inches. The shopfront includes central double doors flanked by disc-moulded pilasters. Above the shopfront, scrolled brackets and consoles support a fascia adorned with wreaths and moulded panels. The building has sash windows throughout, which include glazing bars, rubbed brick flat arches, and shutters.
