Description

Nos. 1 and 3 Bridewell Alley are early 19th-century shops constructed of red brick. The building stands four storeys high and features two bays. Each shopfront has an attached flinted column on the right side and a fluted fascia with a small hood supported by brackets. This hood extends across the facade of No. 25 Bedford Street. The building has sash windows throughout, which include glazing bars and rubbed brick flat arches. There is a central blind window on the fourth floor, and a fascia cornice completes the design.
