Description

Nos. 41 and 43 on London Street is a shop building from the late 18th century, constructed of painted brick. It stands three storeys tall and features four bays. The shopfront is notable for its central door and a yard entry located at the far right. Fluted columns are attached at both ends and flank the door. The fascia includes consoles, and there are French windows on the first floor with a moulded surround and a small flat hood supported by consoles. The second floor has sash windows with an eaved surround. On the left-hand side, there are rusticated quoins, and a flat band runs between the first and second floors.
