Description

No. 3 Opie Street is a late 19th-century office building. It is constructed of yellow brick with a stucco ground floor, and the roof is not visible. The building has three storeys and two bays. The ground floor features an entrance and a three-light window, both framed by rusticated quoins and a flat arch. Above, there are sash windows with brick segmental arches, raised eared and haunched surrounds, and keystones. A Vitruvian scroll decoration is present on the first-floor string course. There is a Renaissance Ionic brick cornice between the kneelers. The building is included for its group value.
