No. 8 Market Place is an early 19th-century shop constructed of local red brick with a modern tiled roof. The building stands three storeys high and features two bays. On the upper floors, there are two recessed sixteen-paned hung sash windows set in cambered gauged brick arches. The ground floor has an early 20th-century shopfront.
